Every year on 21 August, the M Sc Actuarial Science students organise the event PARIKSHIT, remembering the first actuary of India, Late Shri L.S.Vaidyanathan. A man of noble service, achievements and glory whose contribution to the profession have been extensive. The latest edition saw the presence of Mr Karthikeyan Seshadri, Vice President, Swiss Re G l o b a l Business Services, Bangalore and Mr Karthikeyan Seshadri. The event included a panel discussion by actuarial experts.  The dignitaries shared their experience of having been part of the profession in its early walks.
